Shark Tank India season 3 |
On the most recent episode of Shark Tank India season 3, Yavatmal, Maharashtra-born visionary entrepreneur Harshal Mahadev Nakshane revealed his business, AI Cars. The creator of the first artificially intelligent hydrogen-based car manufacturing company in India, Nakshane, amazed the judges with his creative pitch.
Nakshane and his hardworking crew spent eighteen months creating an amazing prototype model in a modest garage in his village, which they showcased to the sharks. With an investment of Rs 60 lakhs, the AI Car, which is fueled by a hydrogen fuel cell, has a remarkable range of over 1,000 miles and a rapid 5-minute recharging period.
Despite early doubts, Nakshane gave an exhilarating test drive across Mumbai's Film City to showcase the capabilities of his invention. Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, and Vineeta Singh were among the judges who watched in amazement as the AI manoeuvred through the busy streets with ease. But Mittal brought up an important point regarding the AI Car's design's viability.
The concept, which looked like a stylish sports vehicle, demonstrated how cutting-edge AI technology and automotive engineering could work together. The sharks, however, passed on making an investment despite the compelling demonstration, pointing to India's lack of infrastructure and a market for artificial intelligence and hydrogen-powered cars.
Seeing Nakshane's drive and desire, the sharks suggested he direct his skills towards well-known automakers so he could make a bigger impact in the field of technology advancement. Zomato's Deepinder Goyal advised Nakshane to put his ego aside and face the realistic obstacles that lie ahead.
